Attending Harvard WECode was an inspiring and transformative experience, where I engaged with leaders and innovators from various technology fields and gained valuable insights into the latest advancements and challenges in the tech industry. The conference provided a platform to connect with accomplished professionals and like-minded peers, fostering a supportive network focused on empowering women in technology. I participated in workshops and panel discussions covering a range of topics from AI and software engineering to career development and diversity in tech. These sessions not only deepened my technical knowledge but also enriched my understanding of the industry’s landscape and the importance of representation and inclusivity. Harvard WECode reinforced my commitment to pursuing excellence in tech and gave me the tools to approach my career with confidence and purpose.


HackPrinceton 2024

Winning HackPrinceton was an incredible learning experience that challenged me to push the boundaries of my technical and problem-solving skills. The hackathon provided a unique, fast-paced environment where I collaborated closely with my team to turn a complex idea into a fully functional project within a limited timeframe. We faced and overcame several technical hurdles, from debugging intricate code issues to managing integrations and ensuring a seamless user experience. Each challenge sharpened my adaptability and taught me how to strategically approach problem-solving under pressure. Through this experience, I learned the value of effective teamwork, quick iteration, and balancing creativity with technical feasibility. Winning HackPrinceton not only boosted my confidence but also solidified my passion for tackling real-world challenges through innovative solutions.

Phi Sigma Rho - Alpha Kappa Chapter

Being a member of Phi Sigma Rho - Alpha Kappa Chapter has been a transformative journey that has strengthened my leadership skills and fostered a deep sense of community and purpose. As an active member, I have connected with inspiring, like-minded individuals who share a commitment to supporting women in engineering. Serving in leadership roles, particularly as the Director of Professional Development, allowed me to directly contribute to the growth and success of our chapter. In this role, I organized workshops, networking events, and career development sessions that equipped members with essential skills for professional advancement. Leading these initiatives taught me valuable lessons in event planning, mentorship, and effective communication, as well as the importance of empowering others to reach their potential. My experience with Phi Sigma Rho has not only enriched my academic and professional journey but also reinforced my commitment to fostering inclusive spaces in STEM.

Honors First Year Research Project

Participating in the Honors First Year Research Project on sustainable fashion opened my eyes to the pressing environmental issues within the textile industry, specifically the harmful effects of textile dyeing. Through this project, I conducted in-depth research on pollution metrics, such as water usage, chemical waste, and energy consumption, which are significantly impacted by traditional dyeing processes. I gained hands-on experience in data analysis, collecting and interpreting environmental data to quantify these effects and develop potential solutions. This experience deepened my understanding of sustainability and its practical implications, teaching me how data-driven insights can guide more eco-friendly practices. My research culminated in exploring natural dye alternatives and proposing optimized dyeing techniques that reduce environmental impact. This project not only enhanced my analytical and problem-solving skills but also fueled my commitment to advancing sustainable practices within the fashion industry.
